My name is Mariano Ochoa, and I’ve been working in the ABA field for over ten years. In that time, I’ve worn many hats—Behavior Technician, team lead, parent trainer, supporter, problem-solver, and lifelong learner. One thing has stayed constant throughout the journey: I’ve always wished there were more simple, accessible materials and clear explanations available for anyone entering the world of ABA.
That’s why I created 8Aba.org.
This site—and this blog—is my way of giving back to the community that shaped me. My goal is to share the tools, insights, and strategies I wish I had when I first started. Whether you’re a brand-new BT, a BCBA, a caregiver, or anyone passionate about behavior analysis, I want this space to support you with practical resources, easy-to-understand concepts, and real-life examples you can use right away.
ABA can feel overwhelming at first, but you don’t have to navigate it alone.
I’m here to help guide your journey—one strategy, one explanation, and one resource at a time.
Let’s learn, grow, and make meaningful change together.
